We are thrilled to announce that PROTEGO® has donated €5,000 to the Braunschweiger Tafel e.V.! 🎉Braunschweiger Tafel e.V. (Brunswick Food Bank) has been making a remarkable impact since its foundation in June 1996. With the dedication of around 160 volunteers, they distribute donated food to people in need and social institutions every day.Each month, they support around 5.000 citizens in Brunswick, saving approximately 80 tons of food and sanitary products every month and committing 600 hours of voluntary work weekly!Since they do not receive any state or municipal funding, the Braunschweiger Tafel e.V. covers their running costs — vehicles, fuel, car maintenance, insurance, telephone, postage, heating and energy for refrigeration systems — solely through donations and sponsors.This is why we wanted to support their amazing efforts by donating €5,000!The donation amount was comprised of the revenue surplus from the participation fees for the first German Safety Days, which was topped up by the event organizers: REMBE® GmbH Safety+Control, and PROTEGO®.Take a look at what the event was about: ► https://lnkd.in/euwZW_5QWhen we arrived for the donation handover, we were greeted warmly and given an informative tour of their operations.It was inspiring to see firsthand the incredible work they do for the community.We are very proud and happy to make this contribution and support the vital efforts of the Braunschweiger Tafel e.V. in aiding those in need and promoting sustainability through food rescue.Thank you, Braunschweiger Tafel e.V., for your tireless dedication and for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful cause!
